This is a fact about myself I’ve never written about because even as a child, I considered it to be part of a sordid family history—even though I knew nothing about the Masons.
With all this talk about gender-equality and such—Masons do not accept women into their ranks. Since I happen to be smarter than most men, I find this to be offensive—even if I don’t want to join.
